There are many accommodation options available ranging in price levels & location. Majority of hotels are within a 15 minute walk from the city center and the conference venue. In addition to the hotels there is also the option of staying at a dormitory (we have agreements with 2 dorms) where the price is lower but you must consider that rooms are shared.

Participants are expected to book their accommodation individually by contacting the providers directly, using a reference code for a special price.

Here is a selection of hotels where we have made prebookings for FOSS4G. Please use the following information to book a room for yourself. If you have any questions please contact Merli from the organising team who was in contact with the accommodation partners (merli.ilves@ut.ee).

1. SOHO Hotel

Booking must be done through their email - sales@hotellsoho.ee. Use the code FOSS4G for a discount.
Price per night ranging from 75€ to 85€. Paid parking 15€ per day.

You can book a room by using the code FOSS4G and writing to email (anu-liis@barclay.ee). Price per night ranging from 51€ to 60€. Free parking courtyard if there are vacancies, paid parking on the street.

Booking should de done via their email pallas@tartuhotels.ee. Use the code FOSS4G to get one of the prebooked roomes. Price per night ranging from 75€ to 100€. Free parking.

5. Dormitory of Tartu University

Book a room using the code FOSS4G by writing to downtown@campus.ee. Price per night ranging from 30€ to 35€. Note that it’s a dormitory where 3 rooms (6 people max) share a kitchen, toilet and a shower. No breakfast is included. Free parking.

• Please note that rooms in the dormitory are only reserved until 10 May! After that vacancies cannot be guaranteed but you can still reach out via the email and code word.

6. Hostel of University of Life Sciences

Book a room by using the code FOSS4G by writing to piret.kytt@emu.ee. Price per night ranging from 20€ to 40€. Please note that it’s a dormitory of rooms that share a kitchen, toilet and a shower. No breakfast is included. Free parking.
